  1. Hello, thank you for your insightful article. I find that a lot of what you’ve written really resonates with me, as I’m trying to improve and find myself this year.

In the article, you mentioned that the 12 areas can be divided into 4 categories of life or realms:

    1) Health
    2) People/connections
    3) Growth
    4) Environment

However, I’m finding it difficult to categorize all 12 areas into these 4 categories.

Can you clarify which area should be under which category?

Thank you. This would help me a lot.

    1. Hi Tina! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to reach out. So glad this article resonated with you!
You’re absolutely right to want clarity on this. Here’s how the 12 areas break down into the 4 categories:

      **1. HEALTH**
      โ€ข Physical Wellbeing
      โ€ข Emotional and Mental
      โ€ข Spiritual

      **2. PEOPLE/CONNECTIONS**
      โ€ข Relationships
      โ€ข Social and Volunteering

      **3. GROWTH**
      โ€ข Work and Career
      โ€ข Finance
      โ€ข Life Purpose
      โ€ข Self Improvement

      **4. ENVIRONMENT**
      โ€ข Environment (your physical spaces)
      โ€ข Adventure, Fun, and Hobbies
โ€ข Time (how you manage and use it)

I hope this breakdown helps you map out your goals more effectively! Remember, the goal isn’t to give equal attention to all 12 areas. It’s impossible. The key is to do a life audit (as I mentioned in the post), rate each area from 1-10, and focus on the areas that need the most attention in your current season.
I’d recommend starting with my Audit Your Life Checklist if you haven’t already, it helps you identify which 3-4 areas to prioritize right now without getting overwhelmed.
Wishing you all the best on your growth journey this year!
